Frequently asked questions

What most people ask before starting therapy

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Here are answers to some of the questions people usually have before booking.

Individual sessions are R1350 and couples sessions are R1700. If you're unsure which option is right for you, you're welcome to reach out before booking.

Both options are available. You can attend sessions in person in Bryanston, Sandton or choose online therapy if that’s more convenient for you.

The first session is a conversation. You’ll talk about what’s been going on, what’s been weighing on you, and what kind of support you’re looking for. It’s also a chance to ask questions and see if the space feels right for you.

Sessions are typically around 50 to 60 minutes. This gives you enough time to explore what you need to without feeling rushed.

Yes, medical aid is accepted. You can claim back for sessions depending on your plan and available benefits. We recommend checking with your provider beforehand, and we’re happy to guide you through what’s needed after your session.

Sessions are offered in English, Zulu and Sepedi, so you can express yourself in the language you’re most comfortable with.

People come in for many different reasons, including anxiety, stress, feeling overwhelmed, relationship challenges, life transitions or simply needing a space to talk and process things.

Start by completing the short form on the website so we can understand your needs. From there, you’ll be guided to finalise your booking through Fresha.
